My Fall 2019 Goals

We are well into the fall season of 2019. Fashion weeks all over the world are coming and going. Trees are changing their color. And it’s starting to be a bit cooler. It means a lot of things are changing and I’ve got some goals I want to make happen.

1. I want to get back into my fitness training. I’ve having really done much other than hike the park behind my building. So, I’m hoping to start back into running outside. I know one thing that will help will be me getting new running shoes. The ones I brought with me are over three years old and I think they might have help cause the injury I sustained during my last half-marathon.

2. Speaking of running race. I want to start training for a race. I’m not sure which one I want to run yet, but I’m pretty sure there is a couple of bigs ones early in the new year. I want to at least run a 10K if not a half-marathon.

3. Get back into drawing. I’ve neglected my skill for a long time as a graphic designer. I need to get back into drawing still life and the outdoors. Then hopefully I can start painting again. It’s going to take some motivation. I think the next time I go hiking, I’m going to bring my drawing pad and pencils. I do have some. Cheap ones, but they’ll work for now.

4. Post once a week on here, my blog. My post are pretty sporadic since I try to avoid doing anything on a computer after work and tend to read well into the night. But I really want to document my current life now and work on my writing skills. That means getting back into blogging.

5. Become a better photographer. Currently I use my photo to take most of my pictures since it’s easy to bring around, but I do have a nice digital camera I got when I left the USA from my boss as a going away gift. I use it sometime, but I really need to take a class and practice with it more.

6. Speaking of taking pictures, I want to post on my social media more. I use to post almost everyday on instagram but that lack of mirror and not going to the gym (that where I took most of my pictures) didn’t help. I need to work on posting more and increasing my voice out there.

That’s six goals I want to accomplish before winter. Or at least before the new year. And I’m currently giving it a go. Right now I’ve written about 3 blog posts that I will need to schedule including this one. I wrote an Instagram challenge for myself in my journal to make sure I’m posting everyday in October. At some point tonight, I’ll search for the biggest Nike Store in Korea and schedule a time to go there to get new shoes. I would start running today, but Typhoon Tapah has been dumping rain here since this morning and it hasn’t even come close to Korea yet. I really need to see if that wellness center nearby has a gym also. Supposedly it does! Until next time…
