6 Things I Can’t Live Without

I think I’m incredible lucky and thankful to be able to have the things I have in my life. With the exception of my friend, family and basic needs (like air, water, my job, etc.), here are 6 things (material items if you will) that I cannot live without.

  1. My iPad/Kindle // I pretty much use my iPad and Kindle for everything from watching YouTube and video chatting friends and family back in the States to reading books and drawing. Its the one item I bring with me on travel long days and I always keep it charge. I choose to get on where I have to connect to Wi-Fi to do anything on the internet, but even when that is not available, I have books and games downloaded to entertain me.096A00BF-5BE1-46D8-BD8A-32139EBF68E7_Original
  2. Tea // Earl Grey to be specific. I think, and I really do hope, that I can live without coffee. I mean, I usually only drink it in the morning. But the rest of my day, tea is my constant. Especially during the winter, a nice cup of hot tea in your hands does wonders. And it’s much healthier than soda or juice. Though the only downside is how much time I spend making my way to the restroom.
  3. My iPhone // This is my main connection to family and friends at home and to connect to people all over the whole. I am a avid Instagram user, so having a phone with me to connect online is a must. I also use my phone for traveling anywhere. Even just taking the bus to downtown Gumi, I need my Map apps to help me navigate. The funny thing is how much I use my phone now a days living here in South Korea compared to back when I lived in the USA. Then again, being on your phone here in a common thing.
  4. Favorite High-Waist Black Jeans From H&M // Every since I found these jeans at the H&M up in Seoul, I’ve been pretty much living in them. They are the correct length on my body. They reach a just above my bellybutton on my midsection. and They are comfortable. I live in them! And the best part of all, they were so affordable. So much so, my next trip up to Seoul I might have to buy some back-up pairs.
  5. Eyebrow Pencil // While the weekdays I wear a full-face of makeup, on weekends, I pretty much just roll on some face sunblock (my favorite is the AHC Natural Perfection Fresh Sun Stick) and do my eyebrows. I have thin hair and I feel that if I don’t do my eyebrows, my face just looks odd. And that is just me.
  6. Chapstick/Lip Gloss // I am a pick-at-my-dry-lips kind of gal. It’s a bad habit that I try consciously not to do but it does happen. So I need to keep some sort of chapstick or lip glass near me. I have one at my desk at school, another on the counter of my vanity, and probably two in my handbags. It not only help me combat picking at my lips, but also keep my lips moist. I really should put some on now…

What items in your life can you not live without? Until next time… 안녕히 가세요, jane*
