Christmas was overseas this season and the holiday is more of a couples holiday rather than a family holiday. Since I live overseas and my family seems to have a hard time sending anything over to me, I went and ordered myself some Christmas gifts. Nothing too big. Just a couple of bits to tied me over. In other words, a haul.

First up, it seems like I cannot stop myself from buying new makeup. This time around though I ordered myself two new blushes and lip tints. For some strange reason, when I placed my order for the lip tints, I thought I was only ordering one but it turns out it was one order for two shades. In the end, it didn’t really matter since the shade I was wanting still came. These two lip tints from Stimmung are really great and they come in a pouch-style package rather than in a tube. It’s a fun departure from the norm. Like all the other Korean lip tints I’ve brought, it has a doe-footed shaped applicator that allows for easy application. The two shades I got are a bright pink shade (QM PK002) and a nude shade (QM ML002). So far I’ve been liking the nude shade. Since it’s a matte lip tint, it dries pretty fast but doesn’t feel like it drying out my lips.

I also got two blushes: Peri Pera Cream Blush & Lily Byred. The Peri Pera Cream Blush in #10 is very smooth and easy to glide on your cheeks. I choose a muted rosy tone because I feel that it would look more natural against my skin tone. The Lily Byred Blush in #06 is a powder blush in a bright rose shade. I haven’t gotten much wear with this one yet, but with my initial trial it seems like a nice shade on my cheeks as long as I keep it light.

Alright now for the more pricer bits. I got myself a new purse. This white little number is a great update to my wardrobe especially since I only brought with me black handbags. This white bag instantly updates any style your going with.

The most expensive gift to myself is the Apple AirPods. I finally jumped on the bandwagon and brought myself a pair. I should have brought them when I updated my phone to the iPhone XR earlier this year. They are just so cute and easy to chuck in my bag. Now I don’t have to detangle my headphones. All I need now is a cute case for them!

So that’s what I got myself for Christmas. When I visit family at the end of this month, I’ll get my actual gifts. And give. I have so much things to bring them that I’m actually considering using my large suitcase…
