Three Winter Travel Outfits

It’s winter now, and you bet its freezing cold. Now add the fact that you have to travel in said cold weather, ew. Comfort is a priority but also is warmth. Comfort and warmth usually mean being in bed underneath the comforter with a good book for me. Not possible a good look to be wearing to the airport.

The key to being comfortable and warm while traveling in the winter, layers. And easy layers you can pull off and on. Here are three outfits you can easily wear on long travel days. All featuring layers.

1. I usually keep my colors simple when traveling. I don’t want to be noticed especially if I’ve been on a long flight, but that doesn’t mean I want to look like I didn’t even try. Leggings are easy to wear especially under the layering of a t-shirt, thick sweater and fleece coat. Add in a comfortable pair of sneakers you’re ready for coffee with your bestie when you land!

2. This one is a favorite since it only requires your favorite (and clean) hoodie, a long white t-shirt, black leggings, and sneakers. I would wear this outfit on more warmer days but you could add a blazer on top to add more warmth to your layers.

3. My last styling is a bit more tailored. Still sticking with warmth and comfort, wear your favorite but stretchy jeans like these high-waisted jeans from H&M. I wore my very thick black turtleneck sweater on top of a lighter t-shirt. I paired that with my currently favorite black combat boots. This outfit I would wear on extremely cold days where frost or even snow is present. I would probably chuck on some gloves with my black bomber jacket to make it complete.

Since I’m already thinking about my travel outfit for my trip home next month, I’m leaning toward the 2nd styling, but If it gets too cold I’ll probably go with the first one.

Which do you like best? So until next time, 안녕, jane*
