One of the last things I did during my Seoul trip was hit up Etude House to get their holiday palettes. However, the store I went into only had one of the palettes left, so I grab that along with other random bits.

When I walked into the one Etude House store, the 2019 Holiday Collection was conveniently placed at the front of the store. However, that was pretty much it. There was a stand at the front of the door promoting the holiday collection and the rest of the shop just had the regular merchandise.
The collection included 5 different color lipsticks, shadow brush set, 2 types of mascara, scented candle and a hand cream set. I did see all the lipsticks, the mascaras and the hand cream set, but I don’t remember seeing the candle nor the scented candle. It was a very small stand promoting the line.
I did get The Red-Nosed Reindeer mini palette. It’s a very rose-colored palette while the other (Rudolph, Pulling The Sleigh) was more brown tones. I wanted to grab both, but again, they did to have the other palette at the stand. They probably was waiting to get a restock before the afternoon crowd showed up.
The one I did get is the cute one with the furry, fluffy cover with Rudolph’s red nose and antlers. The shadows inside are beautifully and has quite a lot of shimmer to them. The hues are great and usable in everyday makeup. All of them have a shimmer with the exception of the dusty rose shade called Deer or Not.

They go on the skin well and are not too powdery. On my dark skin they are a bit on the light side, so if I wanted the hue to be a bit more bold, I would definitely have to layer more on. The glitter shadows (Merry Rudolph, Rudolph Star andDecember 25th) are the lightest. I could probably even use them as highlighters. They do add such a nice shimmer to my skin.
In all, I’m pretty happy with this purchase. It’s going to be used quite a lot this holiday season and I’ll be even happier if I end up using throughout the next year.
Have you pick up any holiday palettes yet this month? If you have, which one and if you haven’t, which one are you eyeing?
Until next time… 안녕히 가세요, jane*
