Alright, I am little behind since we are already done with the first week of December and I’m getting to this post now. November favorites are a bit scarce since I didn’t do much or go anywhere all month. However I do have some things that I’ve have a great appreciation for! This month has been a trials of lots of ups and downs. At school, the 3rd years have finished their testing and its been a struggle to keep them interested in classes and participating. Thanksgiving was a very quiet affair. Video call home marked the event and then the month ended.
Let’s start with hair products. One I brought me with when I moved to South Korea and the other is a Korean product I can easily buy at the local market near me. When I removed my braids back in October I had quite a bit of work to do to it since it had almost become a matted mess. I used several of the products I brought with me to condition it back to it’s former self, but the one that’s been helping the most is Farmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Hair Polish Serum.

The ends of my hair are usually very dry, so this product is one that has been helping the most to give it back moisture right before I style my hair straight. I pour about a quarter size drop in my damp hair before blow-drying it in the first step of my hair straightening process. The next product I use right before I flat-iron and a bit after if I feel like my hair needs it. It’s the Mise En Scene Damage Care 2-in-1 Mist. It’s an oil mist that helps provide dry hair moisture while protecting it from heat damage. Or at least that what I think its been doing for my hair. Either way, I was very surprise that I actually like this product enough to keep buying it!

Next up is skincare. For this last month I’ve been using MediHeal face mask almost every week. I had a whole bunch of MediHeal mask but since I use a sheet mask one or twice a week, I am now just down to these two: the Collagen Impact and P.D.F. A C-Defense. They are one of the only ones that actually fit my face. I’ve tried many others and while I like the impact they have on my skin, majority of them are way too big for my face. That usually leads to over lapping and sometimes actually over the edges of my hair. The MediHeal masks are really great though. Whenever I use them, the next morning my skin is looking even and feeling soft.

Foodwise, my favorites go to Ediya Coffee and Lacto-Fit Probiotics. Ediya Coffee has been a lifesaver since I finally switch to making real coffee in the mornings. The only downsides is that I have to order it online and it comes is these small 200 gram packs. Other than that I love this coffee! It has a great taste and it’s not too rich in flavor. I use the hand drip method to make coffee, so the grounds are just fine enough for that.
When I first moved here, I had brought over enough vitamins to last a couple of month before I knew I would have to find where to buy something similar. So right before I ran out of probiotics, I started researching for the best ones I could get. There was several local Korean YouTubers I saw recommending this brand and I thought I would try it out. And it’s great! It comes in a little tube form and I think you can make a drink out of it, but I usually just down it like powdered candy. It does have a flavor. What I’m not too sure. However it is pleasant.
